Our Cancellation Policy
Should you need to cancel your trip within 10 days of your arrival, we will need to charge your credit card a fee of $50 per night per room.
Should you cancel your visit within 24 hours of your arrival, we will charge your credit card for the full amount of the room.
Smoking Policy
By California law, smoking is not allowed in the house or the rooms at any time. If you do smoke, be sure to ask the innkeepers where the designated smoking areas are located on the grounds. If we find indications that a guest has been smoking in unauthorized areas, we will ask the guest to vacate the premises, charge for the complete stay and access a $125 cleaning fee. |

| The Victorian guest rooms of Deer Creek Inn are named for former owners of the home .... Sheryl, Lela, Winifred, Ida, Elaine and Eileen. Four of the inns rooms are located at the top of the Queen Anne staircase. Two of the rooms are located on the lower level of the house just above the gardens. Although Elaine's Room is more often requested, it is Winifred's Room that holds the record of the most marriage proposals AND acceptances. All rooms have private baths, with a few patios, private entrances and balconies. Other room amenities include televisions, DVD/CD players, hair dryers, electric fireplaces/heaters, wireless internet, and a cell phone antenna booster. The house is equipped with central heat and air conditioning. Most rooms also provide the comfort of featherbeds. We have also added a computer and printer available for guest use. |

The Empire Mine and Malakoff Diggins State Historic Park offer a glimpse into California’s rich history during the Gold Rush Days. |
